Imagine if your favorite chip dip didn’t come from a container or from a packet mixed into sour cream and mayo, but instead was made with care and deeply caramelized onions. Friends, this is that dip.
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 medium onions, finely sliced (about 2 cups)
½ tsp sugar
¾ tsp sea salt
½ cup 2% plain Greek yogurt
1 cup full-fat sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
½ tsp garlic powder
Pepper to taste
Kettle chips, for dipping
Fresh vegetables, for dipping
